Technical accumulation of Takeishi Electric originates from the foundation of the company, which started as precise filament coil manufacturing company, mainly for lighting industry. From the very beginning, our innotive way of thinking allowed us innovative and build our original automated machine, and original method of manufacturing. Currrently, we not only supply parts for lighting industry, but also to the field of medical and analytical device market. We will introduce some areas of market that uses our products.
Medical
Due to its superb electrical and heat resistance properties, tungsten filament coils are widely used for X-Ray devices such as CT Scanner and PET. Takeishi also manufactures Pt. coated tungsten filament coils.
Catherter for inspeciton and treatment
In order to control torque and hardness, many different methods are applied to SUS coil inside of catherter. High density materials such as tantarum and tungsten are used as a marker when radiation imaging device is used for inspection and treatment.
X-Ray CT PET
Controlling or shutting down radiation level, collimator made of heavy alloy, and resin tungsten sheets or parts are widely used. As X-Ray source, EB Gun using tungsten filament is very popular.

Using wire or flat wire (ribbon wire),we form coils made of tungsten, platinum, Pt. coated tungsten, SUS and other materials. Wire diameter could be as small as several microns.

Sensor・Analytical Device
Analyzing composition, structure, characteristics of substance is essential, when manufacturing safe products, as well as monitoring environment surrounding us. Wide variety of analytical devices are available for these purposes. As a means to analyze substance, ultraviolet, visible rays, infrared, as well as electromagnetic wave including X-Ray are used. Our products are used in this area, especially for spectroscopic analysis, electromagnetic analysis (X-Ray analysis), and gaschromatographic analysis.

Analysis by radiation often uses lamps like Xenon lamp and Halogen lamp. We supply lamp electrodes and filaments to lamp manufacturers. Blood analyzer and Hematological testing device are some of most important devices for human life.

Nuclear power Radiation
Nothing is more important than controlling radiation in the field of Nuclear Power. High density metals such as tungsten and molybdenum are ideal material for shielding radiation intensity. Copper is widely used as radiation shielding material, however it is highly hazadous material. tungsten is known to have very limited negative impact on environment.

Radiation sheilding clothes and epron
tungsten is one of the densest metals, and it is heavy. When used as radiation sheilding materials , clothes and epron for example, resin mixed tungsten is used.

tungsten is very high in cost and lacks flexibility. In case of this, resin mixed tungsten may be a better choice in terms of cost and flexibility to shield radiation.

One of Nuclear resarch laboratories was in need of crucible made out of pure tungsten. We grinded roughly 10mm diameter pure tungsten rod. It has wall thickness of 0.2mm.

Germicidal device equipped with UV lamps are widely used in variety of areas of business incluing food industry, semiconductor industry, printing industry. In Japan, it is quite popular to use germicidal device at hot spring facilities to purify hot water in the bath.

Germicidal equipment using UV ray generally uses UV lamp. tungsten electrode and filament are widely used for these lamps.
Halogen heater・High temperature furnace
Halogen heater lamps are equipped with coating drying line in many factories. Such heater lamps are designed to enhance efficiency using infrared areas of light wave. Tungsten has highest melting point of all metals. It also has property of low vapor pressure, low thermal expansion, and good thermal conductivity. It is an ideal material for high temperature vacuum furancace.

filament coils and electrodes for UV
Light source for UV lamps, filament and electrode, is one of our main products. In order to increase life span of lamps, we add special heat treatment here at Takeishi Electric. To have a better discharge property, we mix emitter into electrode material, or we can coat emmiter material to the electrode.
Halogen heater coil
When heater lamp is operated, filament coil reached to extremely high temperature. In order to prevent filament deformation at high temperature, we use doped tungsten such as potassium tungsten. Non-sag and longer life halogen heater filament coils are rechrystalization treated filament aimed at not deforming when operated under high temperture.

General lighting

When operated, inner pressure of arctube for UHP lamp exceeds 200. Tiny impurity human eyes can not catch may lead to lamp to blacken, or exprlode in the worst case. With one of Japanese tungsten material suppliers, we have co-developed super high purity 5N tungsten material which best suit to UHP lamps.

Other than machining tungsten heavy alloy, we can make parts from tungten powder. By mixing, pressing, degreasing and shintering we can create parts or finished goods in not a large scale quantities. If needed we can add finishing touch, including plating and painting.
